How To Stop Procrastinating and Get into Shape (Yes, now is the time if you really want to enjoy the results in spring time)?

As humans, we tend to put off things as much as we can. This is especially regarding the health and fitness of your body.  We find some excuse or the other so that we do not have to go the gym.  Sometimes it’s the work, sometimes its family commitment and sometimes just down right laziness. We procrastinate and that’s all we do.  People tend to procrastinate about weight loss and exercise regimen the most.

Now is the time we stop that and really focus on our selves so that by spring time we are in that perfect shape and flaunt ourselves.  Here is how:

Start Small:

When one stops to exercise and starts working out after a long time, it hurts. And it hurts bad. Many people who have had injuries or troubling knee or back simply quit after a few days. You need to push through the pain and start small but don’t stop. Eventually whatever that is hurting or troubling will regain strength until it will stop hurting. You cannot run from it that exercise makes you healthy and fit not only form the outside but inside as well.

Make Time:

Time is something that we must make. If you cannot take out enough time to go to the gym or workout properly, some quick short workouts throughout the day could be as beneficial. The internet is full of 5-min 20-min tutorials. You could start in the comfort of your home.

Set Goal:

Goals are achievable if they are realistic. It does not mean you can become your high school body again. Bodies change with age. Set a goal which motivates you like 10 reps of crunches, or certain pounds in this amount of time.  Also this works for diet as well. To get back in shape you need to focus on a healthy diet too and keep yourself from the cravings.

Conquering Fear:

Fear keeps you from starting. You need to take hold of that and not let it affect your motivation. You need to be bold enough to step ahead and push aside your failures or fears.

So be done with procrastinating and start!
